Six cards on what you have disowned: the mask, what is beneath it, its origin, its cost, its gift, and how to integrate it.
The deck's most demanding spread and the one to approach with the most care.
Shadow, in the Jungian sense this spread uses, is not the evil in you. It is what you have disowned: traits, needs and capacities that were unacceptable somewhere early on and got pushed out of the self-image. Shadow material is usually not bad. It is usually just inconvenient.
Read the "gift" position seriously. Every shadow trait was originally a capability. Anger disowned takes boundaries with it. Neediness disowned takes intimacy with it.
A real caution: this spread can surface genuine distress. It is a reflective tool, not therapy, and if what comes up is heavy, a therapist is the right next step and not a failure of the reading.
For reflection and entertainment. Not medical, legal, or financial advice.
